App Store refunds

If you bought your subscription through the Apple App Store, refunds are handled only by Apple. Canceling a subscription stops future charges, but does not automatically refund past payments.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store can only be refunded and approved by Apple. To receive a refund, you must contact Apple Support within 14 days of the purchase date. Canceling a subscription does not automatically issue a refund.

Who Handles App Store Refunds

All purchases made through the App Store or in-app purchases are billed by Apple.

That means:

  • Apple controls payments

  • Apple decides refund eligibility

  • We do not have access to App Store transactions

Support cannot refund, override or speed up Apple decisions.

How to Request a Refund from Apple

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com

  2. Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase

  3. Select the subscription or charge

  4. Choose a reason for the refund

  5. Submit the request

Apple usually responds within a few days.

Important Things to Know

  • Canceling the subscription does not equal a refund

  • Refund approval is not guaranteed

  • Apple decides case by case

  • Refunds go back to the original payment method

  • We can’t see Apple’s refund status or decisions

When to Contact Support

Contact support if you’re unsure whether the purchase was made via App Store or web. For refunds themselves, always contact Apple.
