Verification link not working

If the email verification or sign-in link from Linearity isn't working, here's how to fix it.

If you clicked the verification or sign-in link from Linearity and it shows an error, or nothing happens, try the steps below.

Step 1: Check it hasn't expired

Verification links expire after a short time. If you waited before clicking, request a new one and click it immediately.

Step 2: Open the link in the same browser or device

Some links are tied to the session that requested them. If you requested the link on your iPhone but are opening the email on your Mac, try opening it on the same device, or copy and paste the link into the browser you used to sign up.

Step 3: Check your spam or junk folder

Emails from Linearity are occasionally filtered by spam. Search your inbox for emails from @linearity.io to find them.

Step 4: Try a different sign-in method

If you have a Google or Apple account associated with your Linearity email, try signing in with that method instead:

  • Go to cloud.linearity.io
  • Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple

Step 5: Reset your password

If sign-in links consistently don't work, set a password instead:

  1. Go to auth.linearity.io
  2. Select Forgot password
  3. Enter your email and follow the reset link

Once you have a password set, you can sign in directly without needing a link.
