What is Linearity? Curve and Move explained

Linearity is a suite of two apps — Curve for vector design and Move for animation. They work together under one account, subscription, and set of files.

Linearity is a creative suite for designers, consisting of two apps that work together: Linearity Curve and Linearity Move.

Linearity Curve

Linearity Curve is a vector design app for creating illustrations, logos, icons, UI elements, and other graphics. It is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Linearity Move

Linearity Move is an animation app that lets you bring your Curve designs to life. You can import assets from Curve directly into Move and animate them without leaving the Linearity ecosystem. Move is available on iPad and Mac.

One account, one subscription

Both apps share the same Linearity account. Sign in with the same email in both apps and your files, projects, and Pro subscription are available across all of them automatically.

A single Linearity Pro subscription covers both Curve and Move. There is no need to purchase separately for each app.

Which app should I start with?

  • If you want to create a design or illustration, start with Linearity Curve
  • If you want to animate existing artwork or assets, use Linearity Move
  • If you want to design and then animate, start in Curve, then bring your work into Move
